I'm not attempting serious scholarship, but expressing opinions based on over 60
years of living and out of anxiety for the preservation of the United States'
Constitutional way of life, as well as for preserving the freedom and dignity of
human beings everywhere; and for that matter the survival and well-being of
all forms of life on this planet.
I use a pseudonym because I don't seek personal publicity. I want my readers
to focus on the ideas, and build upon them. I do want to affect public opinion
because public opinion, in a day-to-day, ground-level sense, is the engine that
drives public policy.
I'm concerned about two general questions: 1, Is the United States, or any
nation for that matter, worth preserving and protecting in its uniqueness? In
other words, does any nation or people have the right to be "special;" and 2, if
the answer to 1 is "yes," then when, where and how is it appropriate for the
people to unite and make a stand in behalf of the U.S. or similar nation?
I believe the answer to the first question is "yes," and people do need to get
together, they need to gather strength in numbers built around principles that
are as correct as possible. I, therefore, base my ideas in answer to the second
question primarily on my understandings of the Bible and supporting scripture,
and I see faith as a key to our success.
My political position is that the liberals go to far in one direction and the
conservatives go to far in the other. This has divided us as a nation to the
point that we can't get much of anything done that's useful. We need
something deeper that can guide both extremes to common ground.
My focus is on principles. I leave it to others to rally support and organize in
ways that are positive and effective. I do not write in a spirit of, nor do I encourage,
rebellion for rebellion's sake; but rather constructive activism that reestablishes
and strengthens values and community in accord with Western tradition,
and more particularly, our Judeo-Christian heritage.
